We specialise in genealogical research for a legal purpose.

Need a research boost to help with your legal matter?

We specialise in genealogical research for a legal purpose.

Beneficiary Finders was established to advise Australian family, estate and trust practitioners and other professionals who require a boost of forensic genealogical research.

We conduct research to identify, locate or prove a person’s relationship to another, an executor, administrator or beneficiary and related services. We’ll work with you to understand your research objectives. And if it’s not within our skill and knowledge, we’ll say so and find the right person you need.

If you are applying for a grant of probate or letters of administration, need to distribute an estate asset, respond to a court requisition or have some other legal research need, Beneficiary Finders can assist.

We look forward to working with you.

How We Work

Describe your research objective(s). It helps us if you are as specific as possible including what you know, don’t know or need to know. If you prefer, you can email your proposed instructions, or call us during our business hours to discuss.

If we need to discuss anything with you – by telephone or email – to better understand your research instructions, we will. Otherwise, we’ll email our Costs Estimate for the services you require, which you need to return to us before we start.

Some cases take longer than others. There are lots of factors that may arise that we can’t know when we start researching. You will be informed if something significant arises that requires a change to our research services or Costs Estimate.

We email our research findings, or a detailed research report with positive and negative search results if that’s what you need. And we hope you’ll use our services again!
